Description

This two-day PhD conference brings together PhD researchers from across Scotland whose work critically situates (im)mobilities within broader geographical, structural, and/or historical contexts and by doing so, empirically and/or conceptually “unfixes” bordering processes.

 

On the first day of the conference, participants will be presenting and discussing their PhD research across two thematic panels:

- Diasporic identities and belonging

- Economic migration in historical and contemporary perspective

Please note that the venue for the first day of the conference is Room 5.02, Charteris Land, Moray House. The venue for the second day of the conference is the Violet Laidlaw Room, Chrystal Macmillan Building.
