Research interests

Most of my research is connected to the sociology of work, especially digital platform labour, unpaid and gendered labour, and migrant labour. I'm especially interested in forms of critical social research that combine quantitative and data science tools with participatory and emancipatory methods. 

I'm a research lead for the Workers' Observatory in Edinburgh, which bring research tools and support for food delivery riders organising for better working conditions in Edinburgh and in Scotland : https://workersobservatory.org/
