In this workshop, we will discuss the practical aspects of referencing, understanding the purpose of referencing, learning how to reference in essays and what sources to use.
By the end of this workshop, we will answer the questions:
- What is referencing and why do we do it?
- What happens when you don't reference properly?
- What sources and how many references?
- How do you format in-text references and bibliographies?
- What referencing tools to use?
This session is a requirement for the Academic Skills Development Certificate.
