Emerging technologies in war, international security, the impact of emerging technologies on civilian populations, civilian participation in war, international humanitarian law, normative theory.
Research Focus
An investigation into civilian participation in building drones for the Ukrainian armed forces to understand the impact this has on the norms of war and international humanitarian law. Supervised by Andrew Neal and Jamie Allinson.
